The Shijiazhuang customs in Shijiazhuang, capital of North China’s Hebei province, rolled out 15 measures to ensure the smooth operation of industrial chains in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and raise customs clearance efficiency.

Customs officials have identified a list of key enterprises involved in the region’s industrial chains. For these firms, customs clearance procedures undergone at one place will also acknowledged by the two other places. This move is meant to boost the domestic circulation of imported goods.

The government has also offered more training to foreign trade companies and promoted practices such as shipside delivery for imports and loading goods as soon as they reach the port.

The free trade zone and the comprehensive bonded zone are being encouraged to work with each other and pursue coordinated development, and the China-Europe freight train is being prioritized.

Meanwhile, the city has also strengthened efforts to improve the credibility of foreign traders and the global competitiveness of enterprises, and the time needed to register exported food manufacturers has been reduced from five to three workdays.
