In order to meet the citizens' growing demand for diversified sports, Shijiazhuang City, China, has continued to promote the low-carbon, environmentally friendly, sustainable and high-quality development of national fitness in accordance with the principle of "making up for what is lacking". In recent years, Shijiazhuang City has gradually updated 4,960 sports facilities, achieving full coverage of park squares and community sports facilities. 817 various ball sports venues have been built using vacated land, park green spaces, and vacant land on the streets, and 53 sports parks have been newly built or upgraded. County-level sports parks have achieved full coverage, effectively meeting the citizens' nearby sports and fitness needs. A number of high-quality venues and facilities and sports parks such as Shijiazhuang Tennis Center, Shijiazhuang Sports Park, Central Green Sports Park, and Shiguang Smart Sports Park have been completed and put into use, further enriching the supply of venues and facilities around citizens and enhancing their sense of gain and happiness.
