From May 20 to 22, Zhang Chaochao, Secretary of the CPC Shijiazhuang Municipal Committee, led the city’s friendly economic delegation on an official visit to Cambodia, where they attended foreign economic and trade events.

During the visit, the delegation met with Wang Wenbin, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, held separate meetings with Ban Botta, Vice Minister of Ministry of Health of Cambodia and President of the Pharmacy Council of Cambodia, and Yang Kecheng, President of Manhattan Special Economic Zone. They also inspected the Cambodia-based project of Shijiazhuang Hongrui Group and visited the University of Cambodia. Secretary Zhang underscored the importance of thoroughly implementing the guiding principles of President Xi Jinping’s important speeches, deepening practical cooperation between Shijiazhuang and Cambodia in industrial, economic, cultural, and educational fields, actively engaging in the China-Cambodia Tourism Year, and contributing to forging a new-era, all-weather China-Cambodia community with a shared future. The visit also witness the signing of a cooperation agreement between Shijiazhuang Longze Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Cambodia’s OST Company.
